Halo: Campaign Evolved includes several armor and weapon skins, but purchasing an eligible edition does not automatically apply them to Master Chief. Armor and weapon appearances must be selected separately before entering the campaign.
You can also change your equipped cosmetics at any time from the main menu. Here is where to find them and what to check if an edition bonus is missing.
How to Equip Armor Skins in Halo: Campaign Evolved

Open the main menu, select Customization, choose Armor, highlight an unlocked skin, and press A on Xbox, Cross on PlayStation, or left-click on PC.
The new appearance will be applied the next time you enter a campaign mission. You can return to the Customization menu whenever you want to switch to another unlocked armor skin.
The full path is:
- Open the main menu.
- Select Customization.
- Choose Armor or Weapons.
- Highlight the skin you want to use.
- Press the displayed Equip button.
Armor skins change Master Chief’s appearance during cinematics and gameplay moments where his character model is visible. They are especially noticeable while using the Perspective Skull. Our Halo: Campaign Evolved third-person guide explains how to unlock that camera option.
Which Editions Include Armor and Weapon Skins?

The Digital Premium Edition, physical Collector’s Edition, and Premium Edition Upgrade include the Alpha Halo Armory Pack. It contains five armor skins and six weapon skins.
The Alpha Halo Armory Pack includes these armor skins:
- Splintered Warden
- Lochagos
- Mobile Armor Type 117
- Gestalt
- Timberwolf
It also includes six weapon skins spread across different weapons.
Players who preordered any edition before July 28, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT received the Foundry Armory Pack. That pack contains two armor skins and two Assault Rifle skins.
Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members receive the Standard Edition through their subscriptions. However, they can purchase the Premium Edition Upgrade to unlock the Alpha Halo Armory Pack and the other premium digital content.
