The Disney Dreamlight Valley Oogie Boogie event begins with A Halloween Invasion on Sept. 23 and adds a new quest every week through Oct. 28. You must start the first quest before Nov. 4 to keep access to the full Season of Scares questline and eventually unlock both Zero and Oogie Boogie.
We’ll update this guide each week as new Oogie Boogie quests become available, adding the latest objectives, puzzle solutions, rewards, and anything else the event tosses into the Valley.
The good news is that you do not need to finish every quest before the event disappears. As long as A Halloween Invasion is started in time, you can complete the remaining quests later at your own pace..
Oogie Boogie Event Quest Schedule
Season of Scares includes six Oogie Boogie quests. Each one unlocks on a Wednesday, with the final quest permanently adding Oogie Boogie to your Valley.

Gameloft’s official Season of Scares announcement confirms that Oogie Boogie leaves the Valley after Nov. 4 if you have not started his questline. If you miss the event completely, his quests are scheduled to return around Halloween next year.
How to Start the Oogie Boogie Event
Before A Halloween Invasion becomes available, you need to have unlocked:
- Peaceful Meadow
- Scrooge McDuck’s Store
- Chez Remy
Once those requirements are met, check your Mail for a message from Scrooge and head to his store.
You’ll find a strange green mirror inside. Talk to Scrooge, investigate the mirror, and enter it to reach Oogie Boogie’s version of the shop.
How to Unlock Oogie Boogie and Zero
Oogie Boogie becomes a permanent Villager after completing the full six-part Season of Scares questline. His final quest, Oogie Boogie’s Big Game, unlocks on Oct. 28.
Zero also becomes a permanent Companion during the quest chain, although Gameloft has not revealed which weekly quest awards him yet.

When Does the Oogie Boogie Event End?
The important deadline is Nov. 4, 2026.
You only need to begin A Halloween Invasion before Nov. 4. Once the first quest is active in your quest log, you can continue through the remaining Oogie Boogie quests later and still unlock both Oogie Boogie and Zero.
