The Ito Region Treasure Hunt returns during the first week of the Horizon Meets Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 6, running from Oct. 8 through Oct. 15, 2026.
Like previous Treasure Hunts, this challenge gives players a photo clue instead of an exact location. Unfortunately, Ito has plenty of coastline, and searching every beach isn’t exactly the quickest way to spend your afternoon.
Here’s how to solve the clue, find the hidden chest, and claim your rewards.
Where is the Ito Region Treasure Hunt Chest?
The Ito Region Treasure Hunt chest is on the beach beside Meoto Iwa Rock, near a small wooden boat.
Meoto Iwa Rock is a coastal landmark in the southern part of Ito, overlooking Legend Island. The two prominent rocks connected by a rope make it fairly easy to recognize when approaching the shoreline.
To reach the area, open your map and locate Meoto Iwa Rock. You can approach from the nearby road around the Sekibe Kaijo Trailblazer or Oyashirazu Trail.
Once you’re close, leave the road and head toward the beach.
Look around the wooden boat beside the rocks. The colorful Treasure Hunt chest is sitting nearby, waiting for someone to arrive with a bumper.
How to Complete the Ito Region Treasure Hunt
The Festival Playlist clue reads:
“Follow the Photo Clue to Discover the Treasure!”
You don’t need a particular vehicle or a racing skill for this challenge. Finding the chest and smashing it is enough.
- Open the Horizon Meets Summer Festival Playlist.
- Locate the Ito Region Treasure Hunt challenge.
- Travel to Meoto Iwa Rock on Ito’s coast.
- Find the wooden boat beside the shoreline.
- Drive through the nearby Treasure Chest to break it.
The challenge completes after the chest is smashed, awarding its Festival Playlist rewards.

Completing the Treasure Hunt gives you:

The credits are awarded for smashing the chest, while the Playlist points contribute toward the current Summer season.
