Ubisoft has officially launched The Division Resurgence on Steam, bringing its free-to-play looter-shooter RPG to Valve’s storefront after previously being available through mobile devices and Ubisoft Connect on PC.
The Steam release gives more players a chance to jump into Ubisoft’s take on post-pandemic New York while supporting cross-play and cross-progression with existing agents. Players can continue their progress across PC, iOS, and Android by signing into the same Ubisoft account.
What is The Division Resurgence?
The Division Resurgence is a free-to-play third-person shooter set during the early days of the Green Poison outbreak. Rather than retelling the stories of The Division or The Division 2, it features its own standalone campaign while remaining part of the franchise’s canon.
Players can tackle story missions solo or with friends, complete more than 100 open-world activities, customize their loadouts, and take on PvP modes including the Dark Zone. The game also features signature gadgets, gear progression, and multiple Specializations that allow players to tailor their combat style.

The Steam version includes many of the features PC players expect, including:

The Steam store page also notes that the game uses ACE kernel-level anti-cheat.
