Fading Echo is now available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Developed by Emeteria and published by New Tales and Com2uS Holdings, the fast-paced action-adventure RPG launched on July 21, 2026.
Players take control of One, a young hero attempting to protect the desert planet Corel from a reality-warping force known as the Paradox Corruption. Her journey also takes her into the Shadows, distorted parallel versions of Corel where environments, resources, hazards, and combat conditions can change.
Fading Echo Turns Water into a Weapon
Water powers nearly every part of Fading Echo’s combat and exploration systems. One can transform into a living sphere of water, travel through pipes, slip through narrow openings, launch waves, and crash into enemies from above.
She can also shift into vapor to gain height and reach new areas. These abilities are designed to make movement part of combat rather than keeping traversal and battles completely separate.
Environmental elements add another layer to each encounter. Water can interact with lava, toxic waste, and Paradox corruption to produce different effects. Players can drench enemies, solidify hazards, trigger explosions, and build chain reactions by experimenting with the surrounding environment.
A Recognizable Cast Enters the Echoverse

Fading Echo features full English voice acting led by a cast that includes Laura Bailey, Samantha Béart, Jasmine Bhullar, and Liam O’Brien. The game also supports text in several languages, including French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Chinese.
The standard edition normally costs $19.99. A 10% introductory discount lowers the price to $17.99 on Steam and the Epic Games Store until August 2.
Fading Echo is currently available as a single-player PC game. Players looking for an action RPG built around movement, elemental experimentation, and reactive environments can now begin exploring Corel and its fractured realities.
