Hangar 13 has released the first gameplay footage for Mafia: The Old Country’s Man of Honor expansion, giving players a closer look at its new story missions and Free Ride activities.
The paid expansion launches on August 14, 2026. It requires the Mafia: The Old Country base game and will add two new chapters to Enzo Favara’s story alongside new missions, locations, collectibles, weapons, vehicles, and other rewards.
What Is Included in the Man of Honor Expansion?
Man of Honor includes two new story chapters set during the earlier years of Enzo’s service to the Torrisi crime family.
The chapters pair Enzo with a younger Ennio Salieri as the two mafiosi attempt to settle old scores. Mafia fans will recognize Salieri as the future Don whose crime family plays a central role in the original Mafia and Mafia: Definitive Edition.
Hangar 13 says the expansion will explore Salieri’s life before he moved to the United States and established himself in Lost Heaven. At this point in the timeline, he remains a respected criminal but has not yet reached the powerful position seen in the earlier games.
New Free Ride Jobs and Challenges
Players who own Man of Honor will also gain access to exclusive Free Ride content.
Salieri operates from a warehouse in Porto Almaro, where Enzo can accept two types of assignments: Jobs and Challenges.
Challenges expand on the activities already available in Free Ride mode but feature increased difficulty. Jobs introduce new mission types that require players to locate objectives and deal with enemies standing in their way.
The revealed assignments include:
- Searching for hidden caches of valuable loot
- Towing stolen vehicles back to Salieri
- Transporting trucks carrying fragile goods
- Destroying sulfur delivery trucks
- Completing new high-difficulty combat and stealth challenges
Completing these missions rewards Dinari that players can spend on expansion-exclusive items.
New Weapons, Vehicles, Horses, and Collectibles
Man of Honor adds new outfits, Charms, weapons, vehicles, and horses to collect.
Some of the expansion’s equipment moves beyond the base game’s focus on historical realism. One example is the Rimbalzu throwing knife, which can ricochet from one enemy to another and silently eliminate two targets.
Players can also discover new Wanted Posters featuring members of the development team, complete additional Stunt Jumps, and explore new locations added to the Valle Dorata map.
Some expansion content will require players to unlock it through gameplay rather than becoming available immediately.
Is Man of Honor a Standalone Expansion?
No. Man of Honor is not a standalone release.
Players must own Mafia: The Old Country to access the expansion. Hangar 13 has not confirmed the DLC’s price in the gameplay announcement, but the expansion is available to wishlist ahead of its August 14 launch.
