Yasmine is now available in Street Fighter 6 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
The new fighter becomes the first playable character released from the Street Fighter 6 Year 4 roster. Players can access her through the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass.
Yasmine is also the first Filipino martial artist to join the Street Fighter roster. Her story follows her search for a missing older brother after learning Eskrima from her grandfather alongside him.
Yasmine Brings Eskrima to Street Fighter 6
Yasmine fights with an aggressive style built around speed, acrobatics, and precise attacks using a Karambit knife.
Her moves are designed to wear down opponents while giving her several ways to maintain pressure, chase retreating fighters, and extend combos. Successfully executing certain techniques places Yasmine into an enhanced state called Bayani Mode.
Players can use Yasmine across Fighting Ground and the Battle Hub. Her arrival also adds more story and character background for players interested in the wider Street Fighter 6 roster.
How to Unlock Yasmine’s Outfits
Yasmine launches with two outfits.
- Outfit 1 features her Eskrima combat attire and is available as her default appearance.
- Outfit 2 shows Yasmine wearing her school uniform between fights. Players can unlock it by maximizing her Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode. It can also be purchased using Fighter Coins.
Street Fighter 6 Year 4 Character Roster
Yasmine is the first character scheduled for Year 4. The remaining announced roster includes:
- Arjun
- Tifa from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series
- Bosch
Capcom has not provided release dates for the remaining three fighters in this announcement.
Yasmine’s launch also arrives alongside Battle Balance adjustments covering the entire Street Fighter 6 roster. Players can review the official Battle Change List for the complete collection of character and system changes.
Onimusha Collaboration Begins August 7
Street Fighter 6 will begin The Way of the Oni × The Way of the Fist collaboration event on August 7.
Players who log in during the event will receive special colors, while the Battle Hub will receive an Onimusha-inspired makeover.
Capcom is also holding a new Street Voter event themed around players’ favorite Genma. Additional votes can unlock Genma stickers and camera frames.
Yasmine is available now through the Street Fighter 6 Year 4 Character Pass and Year 4 Ultimate Pass.
