Dead by Daylight is loading October 2026 with new cosmetics, events, crossovers, and one particularly unpleasant clown. Behaviour Interactive used its October of Horror Broadcast to lay out a month that starts with the Hallowed Blight Collection and rolls into Haunted by Daylight, Diablo, and the first chance to play Art the Clown.
The Halloween schedule also includes the Academia Rift and additional cosmetic drops, giving players something new to check almost every week.
Dead by Daylight October 2026 Roadmap
Here are the major dates announced so far:
| Date | Dead by Daylight Content |
|---|---|
| Oct. 1 | Hallowed Blight Collection |
| Oct. 6 | Rift Pass 7: Academia |
| Oct. 13 | Haunted by Daylight 2026 |
| Oct. 20 | Diablo Collection |
| Oct. 27 | Terrifier Public Test Build with Art the Clown |
| Oct. 30 | New November Days Ghost Face cosmetic |
| Nov. 5 | Lights Out: Stranger Things |
The new Hallowed Blight Collection is already available, with Very Rare outfits for Jason Voorhees, The Houndmaster, and The Knight. Jason’s addition is especially notable because it gives The Slasher his first Blighted cosmetic since entering the Fog earlier this year.
The Academia Rift Arrives Oct. 6
Rift Pass 7 opens on Oct. 6 with an Academia theme built around student, teacher, and dark-academia-inspired cosmetics.
Vee Boonyasak and The Huntress receive Ascended variants, while Claudette Morel, Renato Lyra, Thalita Lyra, and The Clown are also part of the collection. Community Collection outfits for Kate Denson and The Deathslinger are included as well.
Haunted by Daylight Returns Oct. 13
The annual Haunted by Daylight event begins Oct. 13 and changes one of the event’s biggest mechanics from recent years.
The separate Void Realm is gone. Instead, Void Rifts remain on the normal maps and can transform into Void Portals, letting players teleport across the Trial. The Entity’s Realm will also get a more traditional orange Halloween look with pumpkins and seasonal decorations.
This year’s earnable cosmetics include outfits for Shane Wiigwaas and The Hillbilly, Survivor shirts, and new Killer masks. We’ll have a separate Haunted by Daylight guide ready for the event.
Diablo Enters the Fog Oct. 20
The Dead by Daylight x Diablo Collection launches Oct. 20 with six outfits.
The Killer side brings Lilith to The Artist, Belial to The Dredge, and Mephisto to The Nurse. Survivor cosmetics turn Zarina Kassir into a Sorceress, David King into a Barbarian, and Taurie Cain into a Necromancer. The Killer outfits also feature voice work from their Diablo actors.
Behaviour first announced the Diablo collaboration during Dead by Daylight’s 10th Anniversary celebrations.
We’ll cover all six skins separately closer to release rather than trying to stuff Sanctuary’s entire wardrobe into one paragraph.
Art the Clown Gets an Oct. 27 PTB
The month’s final major gameplay reveal is Art the Clown from Terrifier, who enters the Public Test Build on Oct. 27. That will give PC players the first chance to try the upcoming Killer before his full release.
A Día de los Muertos-inspired Ghost Face cosmetic follows on Oct. 30, while the October of Horror schedule continues into November with Lights Out: Stranger Things on Nov. 5.
That makes October unusually busy even by Dead by Daylight standards. The Fog apparently looked at Halloween and decided one event would be showing restraint.
