The Hokubu Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 6 is located in a parking lot beside a low building with four garage doors. Select the Treasure Hunt from the Festival Playlist to reveal its red Treasure Chest icon, set a route, and drive directly to the marked location.
Smash through the chest with your vehicle to complete the challenge and collect 100,000 Credits. The Hokubu Treasure Hunt is part of the Italian Exotics Winter Festival Playlist.
Where is the Treasure Hunt FH6?
The Treasure Chest is near the northwestern edge of the built-up area in the Hokubu Region. It sits below the snowy mountain foothills and west of the larger network of city roads.
The easiest way to reach it is through the Festival Playlist:
- Open the Festival Playlist.
- Select the Winter season.
- Highlight the Hokubu Treasure Hunt.
- Open its location on the world map.
- Select the Treasure Chest icon and set a route.
- Follow the GPS marker to the parking lot.

Exact Treasure Chest Location
Once you reach the marker, look for a paved parking lot beside a rectangular building.
The building has four large garage doors facing the parking area. The Treasure Chest is sitting outside in the lot rather than hidden inside the building or around its rear.
Drive into the colorful chest to break it. You do not need to use a specific car, reach a certain speed, or activate Photo Mode.
If the chest is not visible, confirm that you selected the seasonal Treasure Hunt instead of a permanent Treasure Car clue. The map icon should say Treasure Chest and show its status as Not Collected.
What is the Hokubu Treasure Hunt Reward?
Breaking the Hokubu Treasure Chest rewards you with 100,000 Credits. The challenge also contributes toward your seasonal Festival Playlist progress.
The reward should appear immediately after the chest breaks. If it does not register, drive away from the parking lot, return to the Festival Playlist, and select the Treasure Hunt again.
You can also restart the game if the chest marker remains on the map after you have already smashed it.
