Honeycrunch Bar in Dreamlight Valley is one of the first new meals you will prepare after entering Honeyglow Woods. Pooh introduces the snack early in the Adventure Pack story, but you must restore an important feature before you can collect everything needed to cook it.
You will also need several Honeycrunch Bars later, so it is worth gathering more ingredients than the first quest requests.
Honeycrunch Bar Recipe in Dreamlight Valley

To make a Honeycrunch Bar in Disney Dreamlight Valley, combine these two ingredients at any cooking station:
- Sweet Chestnut
- Golden Honey
You will also need one Coal Ore to cook the meal. Honeycrunch Bar is a two-star appetizer and is added to the Honeyglow Woods section of the Meals Collection after you make it for the first time.
Neither ingredient can be substituted. Regular honey, another fruit, or another sweet ingredient will produce a different meal.
What is Honeycrunch Bar Used For?
You first make a Honeycrunch Bar during Chapter 1: All You Need Is Honey. After collecting Sweet Chestnut and Golden Honey, cook the bar and give it to Pooh to finish the chapter.
You will need the recipe again during Interlude: The Misplaced Honey. The path into Gloommeadow is blocked by a Corrupted Honey Wall that requires four Honeycrunch Bars, along with several other materials.
Since each bar needs one Sweet Chestnut and one Golden Honey, you will need four of each ingredient for that objective. Start saving Golden Honey after the first chapter so you are not stuck waiting for the Busy Bees’ House later.
Where to Find Sweet Chestnuts

Sweet Chestnuts grow on trees throughout Honeyglow Woods. You can find the trees in:
- Drowsybloom Acre
- Gloommeadow
- Braveheart Grove
- Nectar Apiary
Drowsybloom Acre is the first area you unlock, so you can collect Sweet Chestnuts before opening the other biomes. Look for the trees near your house and around the surrounding paths.
Each tree provides three Sweet Chestnuts per harvest. The fruit grows back after about 30 minutes, and the trees do not need to be watered.
You can also move the trees closer to your Honeyglow Woods house through Furniture Mode. This makes them easier to check whenever you return to the area.
How to Get Golden Honey

Golden Honey is harvested from a Busy Bees’ House through the Honeyglow Woods Beekeeping system. You repair and place your first Busy Bees’ House during Chapter 1: All You Need Is Honey.
Place flowers around the house to improve its honey production. Once the bees have finished working, interact with the Busy Bees’ House to collect Golden Honey.
A fully pollinated Busy Bees’ House can produce one Golden Honey approximately every 10 minutes. Keep several pieces in storage because Golden Honey appears in many Honeyglow Woods recipes, quests, and crafting projects.
