How to Make Honey Triffle in Dreamlight Valley

This layered dessert requires ingredients from gardening, Beekeeping, digging, and foraging across Honeyglow Woods.

Honey Triffle in Dreamlight Valley is a four-star dessert added with the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack. You will need it while progressing through the story, and it returns during one of Eeyore’s later Friendship quests.

Each ingredient comes from a different Honeyglow Woods activity. Fortunately, none requires fishing, so you can prepare the meal while tending crops, collecting honey, and exploring the biomes.

To make Honey Triffle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, combine these four ingredients at any cooking station:

  • Pufflebud Pods
  • Golden Honey
  • Tree Resin
  • Juniper Berry

You will also need one Coal Ore to start cooking. Honey Triffle is a four-star dessert and is added to the Honeyglow Woods Meals Collection after you make it.

All four ingredients are specific to Honeyglow Woods. You cannot substitute another fruit, crop, honey, or Dairy and Oil ingredient in their place.

What is Honey Triffle Used For?

Honey Triffle is required during Interlude 3: The Shadowy Surprise. You need it alongside Honey-Glazed Plush Fish and several gathered materials to repair the bridge leading into Nectar Apiary.

The dessert appears again during Eeyore’s level 7 Friendship quest, The Shy Villagers Society. During that quest, you receive the Honey Triffle recipe and cook one as a tea party snack.

Keeping extra Pufflebud Pods, Golden Honey, Tree Resin, and Juniper Berries in storage will save time when the second requirement appears.

Where to Get Pufflebud Pods

Pufflebud Pods can be purchased from the Hunny Seed Stall in Drowsybloom Acre. You can buy the harvested ingredient directly when it is in stock or purchase Pufflebud Pods Seeds to grow your own.

Growing them is the better option if you need several for recipes or quests. Harvest the plants with a villager assigned to the Gardening role for a chance to receive additional Pufflebud Pods.

How to Get Golden Honey

Golden Honey is harvested from Busy Bees’ Houses through the Honeyglow Woods Beekeeping system. Place flowers around each house to increase pollination, then collect the honey once it is ready.

Golden Honey is used in several Honeyglow Woods recipes and quests, so it is worth keeping a supply in storage. Our guide to Beekeeping in Disney Dreamlight Valley explains how to begin producing it.

How to Get Tree Resin

Tree Resin can be found by digging the ground anywhere in Honeyglow Woods. Equip your Royal Shovel and dig open patches of soil until one drops.

You can also receive Tree Resin while using your Royal Pickaxe to remove small or large Amber Brushwoods. Digging is the easier option when you need to farm it repeatedly.

Where to Find Juniper Berries

Juniper Berries grow on bushes in Gloommeadow and Braveheart Grove. Each harvest provides four berries, and the bushes produce more after approximately 25 minutes.

You can move the bushes closer to your Honeyglow Woods house through Furniture Mode if you want an easier gathering route. Moving them does not stop the berries from growing.
