The trickiest ingredient does not come from a tree, seed stall, or beehive, so it may take a few fishing attempts before you have everything ready.
Honey Macarons Recipe in Dreamlight Valley
To make Honey Macarons in Disney Dreamlight Valley, combine the following four ingredients at any cooking station:
- Golden Honey
- Sweet Jelly
- Any Grain
- Sweet Chestnut
You will also need one Coal Ore to start cooking. Honey Macarons are a four-star dessert, and the recipe is added to your Honeyglow Woods meal collection after you successfully cook it.
Wheat is the easiest option for the grain slot. It is cheap, grows quickly, and can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow.
Where to Find the Honey Macarons Ingredients
Most of the Honey Macarons ingredients come directly from Honeyglow Woods, but they are gathered in different ways.
Golden Honey
Golden Honey is collected through the Beekeeping system in Honeyglow Woods. Tend to the beehives and harvest them once the honey is ready.
You may want to keep several pieces of Golden Honey in storage because it is used in multiple Honeyglow Woods recipes and quests.
Sweet Jelly
Sweet Jelly is caught by fishing in blue ripples throughout Honeyglow Woods. Bring a villager assigned to the Fishing role for a chance to receive an extra one.
Do not fish in plain water or white ripples while looking for Sweet Jelly. Wait for blue fishing spots to appear.
Sweet Chestnut
Sweet Chestnuts grow on trees around Honeyglow Woods. They can appear in Drowsybloom Acre, Gloommeadow, Braveheart Grove, and Nectar Apiary as you unlock more of the Adventure Pack.
Each harvest provides several Sweet Chestnuts, and the fruit grows back later. Check your map for fruit icons if you have trouble spotting the trees.
Any Grain
Wheat is the simplest grain to use. You can buy Wheat Seeds from the Hunny Stall.
Other ingredients categorized as grains may also work, but Wheat is the safest and easiest choice for this recipe.
What Are Honey Macarons Used For?
Honey Macarons are required while progressing through the Honeyglow Woods story. You need one alongside the Toasted Picnic Sandwich, Foresty Quiche, Golden Honey, and Honey Agate to clear the Corrupted Honey Wall leading toward Braveheart Grove.
The dessert also appears later during Eeyore’s Friendship quest, The Shy Villagers Society. Keeping an extra serving in storage can save you another fishing trip for Sweet Jelly.
Once you have gathered all four ingredients, add them to a cooking pot with Coal Ore to make Honey Macarons and permanently unlock the recipe.
