Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7, titled Terminated, launches on August 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM Pacific.
The new season features a Terminator 2: Judgment Day collaboration alongside the Cronen Squall assault rifle, Overload Battle Royale class, refreshed Nuketown map, new multiplayer modes, and several seasonal events.
Players can also unlock more than 15 Terminator-themed rewards through a new event, including the Blackjack Endoskeleton Operator variant.
When Does COD Mobile Season 7 Start?
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 begins at the following times:
- 5:00 PM PDT on August 5
- 6:00 PM MDT on August 5
- 8:00 PM EDT on August 5
- 1:00 AM BST on August 6
- 2:00 AM CEST on August 6
The update may become available to download before the season formally begins. However, its Battle Pass, events, and seasonal content will not activate until the scheduled start time.
Terminator 2 Collaboration
The Terminator 2: Judgment Day event asks players to complete two rotating tasks each day.
Completing these tasks awards Cyberdyne Tech points, with a maximum of 100 points available per day. These points advance a milestone tracker containing more than 15 Epic rewards.
Early rewards include stickers, charms, and sprays. Continued participation unlocks weapon camos and eventually the Blackjack Endoskeleton Operator variant.
The store will also feature T-800 and T-1000 Operator skins through the It Goes Two offer. Players who acquire both skins can upgrade them from Epic to Legendary quality and switch between their alternate forms.
These premium Operator skins are separate from the rewards available through the free seasonal event.
New Cronen Squall Assault Rifle
The Cronen Squall joins COD Mobile through the free tiers of the Season 7 Battle Pass.
Activision describes it as a powerful assault rifle with a slower rate of fire and manageable recoil. Its controlled firing pattern should make it useful for medium-range engagements where accuracy matters more than spraying an entire magazine at the nearest moving object.
Players can also earn the Cronen Squall Countermeasure blueprint through the Premium Battle Pass.
A separate lucky draw will feature the Cronen Squall Widow’s Bite blueprint.
New Overload Battle Royale Class
Overload is the new Battle Royale class available through the free Battle Pass tiers.
Its ability deploys a Shock Stick that can interrupt enemies during an attack. The full duration, cooldown, upgrade bonuses, and counterplay should become clearer once Season 7 is live.
Operator Skill Overdrive Mode
Operator Skill Overdrive is a new free-for-all party mode built around collecting and combining Operator Skills.
Each player begins by choosing one of three randomly selected skills. A second skill can then be collected during the match.
Compatible skills create a Fusion Skill. For example, combining Tempest with Purifier unlocks Thunderfire Storm.
Every Operator Skill can also reach three upgrade levels. These upgrades improve properties such as its range and damage.
Cooldowns are reduced every 30 seconds, while defeating the player currently in first place awards triple points.
Hardpoint: Mayhem Roles
Hardpoint: Mayhem divides each five-player team into three specialized roles:
- Two Anchors score while occupying the objective
- Two Rovers eliminate enemies and break their control
- One Controller supports the team with Scorestreaks
Each role receives a fixed loadout, unique effects, and its own scoring responsibilities.
Players cannot freely choose a role before each match because the assignments are randomized.
Lockdown Battle Royale Mode
Lockdown brings an objective-based mode to Rebirth Island.
Teams fight to capture and hold rotating scoring zones while respawns keep players in the match. One objective is randomly chosen as the High Value Zone, which awards double points while controlled.
Lockdown will also contribute progress toward the new Arcade Event.
Nuketown Visual Update
Season 7 refreshes Nuketown using the visual presentation from the Black Ops 6 version of the map.
The classic layout remains intact, but lighting, materials, exterior details, and overall visual fidelity have been improved.
Players who already know every angle and suspiciously specific grenade throw should not need to relearn the map.

Three older Battle Passes also enter the Vault during Season 7: Second Anniversary, Tropical Vision, and Eternal Ghost.
More Season 7 Events
The Arcade Event awards progress for playing Operator Skill Overdrive, Hardpoint: Mayhem, and Lockdown.
Its rewards include Jet Golden Flaw and five Epic weapon blueprints.
COD Points Rush also offers Time Limited COD Points through weekly missions. These points only work on eligible Season 7 draws and store offers, and they expire when the season ends.
