The Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt is one of the exploration challenges in the current Forza Horizon 6 Spring Festival Playlist. Players receive only a monochrome photo showing a chest on a rocky shoreline with a three-tier pagoda visible across the water.
Finding and smashing the chest awards 100,000 Credits and three Festival Playlist points.
Where is the Takashiro Treasure Hunt Chest in Forza Horizon 6?
The Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt chest is reached by following the mountain road from the Temple of Nachi Falls down toward the waterfall and river.
Start at the Temple of Nachi Falls and leave the temple grounds using the main road. Follow it downhill until you reach the waterfall.
At the waterfall, take the road on the right-hand side and continue following it through the mountains. Stay on this road until you reach the rocky shoreline shown in the Festival Playlist clue.
The Treasure Chest sits beside the water at the end of the route. Drive directly into it to complete the Treasure Hunt and collect the 100,000-Credit reward.
The easiest route is:
- Fast travel or drive to the Temple of Nachi Falls.
- Leave the temple and follow the road downhill.
- Continue until you reach the waterfall.
- Take the road to the right of the waterfall.
- Follow that road until you reach the chest beside the water.
- Smash the chest to complete the challenge.
The chest is not directly beside the temple or at the base of the waterfall. Players need to continue along the right-hand road for the final part of the route.e wall. The difficult part is reaching the correct elevation, since the road and temple sit above parts of the shoreline.
Why the Chest Can Be Hard to Spot

The clue image makes the chest look closer to the Temple of Nachi Falls than it actually is. It sits much farther along the mountain road beside the water, so stopping near the temple or waterfall will leave you short of the correct location.
Use the waterfall as your main route marker. Take the road on its right-hand side and remain on it until you reach the rocky shoreline. The chest becomes visible near the water once you reach the end of the route.
There is no vehicle or performance restriction for this Treasure Hunt. Any car can reach and smash the chest, although something with decent handling may make the narrow mountain road easier to follow.
Completing the Takashiro Region Treasure Hunt awards three seasonal points and 100,000 Credits.
