The Shimanoyama Region Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 6 is part of the Summer Festival Playlist for Horizon Mascot Party. The challenge only provides a photo clue, leaving you to identify where the Treasure Chest is hidden somewhere within the region.
Fortunately, you do not need to search the surrounding mountains or small villages. The chest is tucked inside one of Shimanoyama’s racing locations.
Where is the Shimanoyama Region Treasure Hunt in FH6?
The Shimanoyama Region Treasure Chest is inside Shimanoyama Circuit. Head into the circuit grounds and drive toward the pit and garage bay area to find the chest underneath the spectator structure.
Open the map and locate Shimanoyama Circuit in the western portion of the Shimanoyama Region. Set a route to the circuit and drive directly to the race grounds.
Once you arrive:
- Enter the Shimanoyama Circuit area.
- Drive inside the racing complex rather than stopping at the event marker.
- Head toward the pit and garage bays beside the track.
- Look underneath the raised spectator area overlooking the bays.
- The Festival Playlist Treasure Chest is sitting against the back of the pit area.
- Drive through the chest to complete the Treasure Hunt.
You do not need to start or complete the Shimanoyama Circuit race. The chest is accessible while freely driving around the circuit grounds.
What is the Shimanoyama Treasure Hunt Reward?
Finding the Shimanoyama Region Treasure Chest awards 100,000 Credits and completes the Festival Playlist activity.
The Treasure Hunt is part of the Horizon Mascot Party Summer season, which runs from August 13 through August 20, 2026.
Other Summer activities include the #SunnySnap Photo Challenge, which requires photographing the Wuling Sunshine S at Hokuryu Sunflower Farm. The seasonal rewards are the 2018 Exomotive Exocet Sport V8 XP-5 at 20 points and the 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster at 40 points.
Once you know Shimanoyama Circuit is the location, this Treasure Hunt is a quick one. Drive into the pit area, head beneath the spectator structure beside the bays, and smash the chest for your reward.
How to Find Shimanoyama Circuit

Shimanoyama Circuit is west of the large farming areas in the central part of the region. It sits near the western edge of the fields and is marked as a Road Racing event on the map.
The circuit is also being used for the Small But Mighty Seasonal Championship during the same Summer playlist, which can make its event icon easier to identify. The official Festival Playlist lists Shimanoyama Circuit as one of the championship’s three Road Racing events.
If you are using the photo clue rather than the map above, look for the circuit’s recognizable pit structures and spectator areas. The Treasure Chest is inside that complex rather than somewhere along the surrounding roads.
