The Ito Region Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 6 returns for the British Automotive Summer Festival Playlist, but players who remember the previous Ito hunt should not head back to the old beach location.
This week’s clue once again says, “Follow the Photo Clue to Discover the Treasure!” There is no required car, Skill challenge, race, or stunt to complete before the chest appears.
Instead, you need to match a fairly ordinary-looking countryside scene somewhere in Ito. That makes this one harder than it sounds, since the photo does not give you many obvious landmarks.
The British Automotive Summer season runs from September 10 through September 17, 2026.
Where to Find the Ito Region Treasure Hunt in FH6

The current Ito Region Treasure Chest is in the farmland south of Ito Airfield, just beside a railway crossing near the center of the region.
Start by opening the World Map and finding Ito Airfield on the eastern side of Japan.
From there:
- Travel south from Ito Airfield toward the farmland.
- Look for the road that runs between the two large farming areas.
- Follow it toward the railway tracks.
- Watch for a house near the crossing.
- Leave the road just before the tracks and enter the open grassy area beside them.
- Smash through the Treasure Chest to complete the hunt.
The chest sits in a small open section of farmland with few major landmarks around it, which is why the photo clue can be difficult to place.
Do Not Use the Old Ito Treasure Location
Forza Horizon 6 has already used Ito for a previous Festival Playlist Treasure Hunt.
That older version sent players to the northeastern coastline near Ine. The British Automotive Summer chest is completely different and sits much farther inland, south of Ito Airfield.
If you reach the beach, you are looking at information for the older challenge.
Ito Region Treasure Hunt Rewards

Smashing the current chest rewards:
- 100,000 Credits
- 5,000 XP
- 3 Summer Season Points
Those Season Points contribute toward this week’s Festival Playlist cars. The 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior unlocks at 20 points, while the 2021 McLaren 620R requires 40 points.
The Ito Region Treasure Hunt remains available until the British Automotive Summer season ends on September 17.
