GTA 6 characters are already becoming one of the biggest talking points before Grand Theft Auto VI launches. Rockstar has not revealed every major role yet, but the studio has confirmed several characters through its official GTA 6 site.
The main story centers on Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, two criminals trying to survive after an easy score goes wrong in Leonida. Around them, Rockstar has revealed a wider cast tied to Vice City, the Leonida Keys, music, crime, and local chaos.
All Confirmed GTA 6 Characters So Far

Rockstar has officially revealed these GTA 6 characters so far:
| Character | What We Know |
|---|---|
| Jason Duval | One of the two lead characters. He works with local drug runners in the Keys and becomes tied to Lucia’s plan. |
| Lucia Caminos | One of the two lead characters. She is recently out of prison and wants a better life for herself and her family. |
| Cal Hampton | Jason’s friend and an associate of Brian’s who keeps an eye on Coast Guard comms. |
| Boobie Ike | A Vice City figure with real estate, club, and recording studio connections. |
| Dre’Quan Priest | A hustler trying to break into the Vice City music scene through Only Raw Records. |
| Real Dimez | Bae-Luxe and Roxy, a rap duo using viral fame and social media to push toward bigger success. |
| Raul Bautista | A seasoned bank robber looking for talent willing to take bigger risks. |
| Brian Heder | An old-school drug runner in the Leonida Keys who lets Jason stay at one of his properties. |
That list will likely grow before launch, but these are the confirmed names Rockstar has shown so far.
Who Are the Main Characters in GTA 6?

The main characters in GTA 6 are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
Jason appears to be a criminal with ties to drug runners in the Keys. Rockstar describes his life as getting harder even though he wants something easier. His connection with Lucia seems central to the story, especially after the pair are pulled into a larger criminal conspiracy.
Lucia is the other lead. She has spent time in Leonida Penitentiary and is trying to make smarter moves after getting out. Rockstar frames her as someone who wants a better life, but not someone willing to wait around for it.
Together, Jason and Lucia look like GTA 6’s version of a crime partnership built on pressure, trust, and terrible decision-making. In other words, very normal Grand Theft Auto relationship material.
Who Are the Supporting GTA 6 Characters?

The supporting GTA 6 characters give Leonida more texture beyond Jason and Lucia.
Cal Hampton seems tied closely to Jason’s circle. Boobie Ike and Dre’Quan Priest connect the story to Vice City’s nightlife and music scene. Real Dimez brings social media and viral rap culture into the mix, while Raul Bautista points toward bigger scores and professional crime.
Brian Heder may also matter early because of his connection to Jason in the Leonida Keys. Rockstar says Brian lets Jason stay at one of his properties, as long as Jason helps with local work.
None of that confirms exactly how much screen time each character gets. Still, Rockstar is clearly building GTA 6 around more than two protagonists. Leonida already has its own network of criminals, performers, fixers, and local weirdos.
Are the GTA 6 Voice Actors Confirmed?

Rockstar has not revealed the full GTA 6 voice cast yet.
Some actor names have surfaced through listings, resumes, reports, and fan tracking, but that is different from Rockstar publishing the official cast list. Until Rockstar confirms the full lineup, voice actor claims should be treated carefully.

Will GTA 6 Have More Characters?

Yes, GTA 6 will almost certainly have more characters than the ones Rockstar has revealed so far.
Grand Theft Auto games usually build their stories around a large cast of allies, enemies, contacts, side characters, and complete disasters in human form. GTA 6 should be no different, especially with Vice City and the wider state of Leonida playing such a large role.
For now, Jason and Lucia are the clear leads. The rest of the confirmed GTA 6 characters give us the first real look at the people, businesses, and criminal circles surrounding them.
Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. For more on how Jason and Lucia’s campaign may be structured, read our GTA 6 story chapters guide.
