These materials are vital for crafting early-game structures like the Hatchery, which you’ll need to hatch your first Buggy and continue progressing. Be sure to scan both Acorn Shells and Tops at a Research Station to unlock valuable crafting recipes, including the Acorn Armor set, which is a strong option for tank-style characters due to its defensive set bonus.
