The When the Cat’s Away lasagna locations in Garfield – Escape from Monday are more involved than the collectibles in the opening farm level.
There are four lasagnas to find this time. Two are fairly easy to spot, while another is hidden behind a secret path near a group of waterfalls. The final collectible also introduces a timed button mechanic that requires you to reach the lasagna before the countdown expires.
Finding the full set contributes toward unlocking more furniture for Jon’s house.
All When the Cat’s Away Lasagna Locations
There are four lasagnas in When the Cat’s Away, including one hidden immediately behind the starting area.
Lasagna Location #1
As soon as the level begins, turn around instead of following the normal route.
Walk toward the nearby edge and look down to your left.
The first When the Cat’s Away lasagna is sitting below the starting area. Drop down and collect it before returning to the main path.
This is an easy one to miss simply because the level immediately encourages you to head in the opposite direction.
Lasagna Location #2
The second lasagna is much harder to overlook.
Continue through the level until the cutscene where Chef Monday drops the spinning almonds into the area.
The lasagna is visible during this sequence.
Defeat the enemies, then collect the lasagna before continuing.
Lasagna Location #3
The third lasagna is the trickiest collectible in the level because the entrance to its secret route is easy to miss.
Continue until you use the first wind circle. After landing, look toward the three waterfalls on your left.
Face the waterfalls and look for the hidden opening.
Jump across the waterfall and use Garfield’s dash to reach the tuna can platform. Ride the platform upward, then move left and jump across into the barn.
Head all the way toward the back of the barn to find the third When the Cat’s Away lasagna.
Lasagna Location #4
The final collectible introduces the level’s timed lasagna mechanic.
Hit the timed button, then immediately jump back and use the nearby wind circle to move forward.
After landing, do not use the next wind circle.
Instead, jump onto the two platforms to its right and climb toward the lasagna. Reach it before the timer expires to add it to your collection.
If time runs out, return to the button and try the sequence again.
How to Get Missed Lasagnas After Finishing the Level
You can replay When the Cat’s Away through Dreamland after completing it.
The game remembers which lasagnas you have already collected. If you found three during your first run, you only need to locate the missing fourth one on your return trip.
Previously collected lasagnas do not need to be picked up again, and the same applies to the level’s other cheese collectibles.
That is especially useful for the hidden barn lasagna, since you can focus entirely on reaching its secret route instead of clearing every collectible again.
