Madden NFL 27 has multiple early access paths before its worldwide launch. Some players receive unlimited access, while standard EA Play members are restricted to a timed trial.

The first Madden NFL 27 early access period begins August 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET for existing MVP+ members.
The EA Play 10-hour trial begins at the same time on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

When Does Deluxe Edition Early Access Start?
Madden NFL 27 Deluxe Edition early access starts August 10 at 2:00 PM ET.
The three-day access period is available to players who purchase either:
- Madden NFL 27 Deluxe Edition
- The Madden NFL 27 and College Football 27 MVP Bundle
The Deluxe Edition access period is available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and supported PC storefronts.
EA Play Pro members on PC also receive access beginning August 10 at 2:00 PM ET.
Does EA Play Include Madden 27 Early Access?
Standard EA Play includes a 10-hour Madden NFL 27 trial beginning August 6 at 2:00 PM ET.
The timer only decreases while the game is running. Players should close Madden NFL 27 completely after each session rather than leaving it suspended in the background.
Progress from the trial should remain attached to the same EA and platform accounts when players continue with the full game.
EA Play does not provide unlimited early access. Once the 10 hours expire, members must purchase an eligible edition or wait until the worldwide launch.
Is Madden 27 Early Access Available on Nintendo Switch 2?
Nintendo Switch 2 players can use the three-day early access included with the Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle beginning August 10.
The seven-day MVP+ option and standard EA Play trial are not listed for Nintendo Switch 2. EA specifically limits those August 6 options to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC where applicable.
Players looking for unlimited access without an existing MVP+ membership should choose the Deluxe Edition or MVP Bundle. Everyone else can begin with the EA Play trial before deciding whether to purchase the full game.
