Six players begin Madden NFL 27 with a 99 overall rating:

Garrett earns his third consecutive 99 overall rating. Allen and Chase return to the group, while Smith-Njigba, McBride, and Stafford are first-time members.

The Los Angeles Rams are the highest-rated team in Madden NFL 27 at 91 overall.
The Rams increased by seven overall points compared with the Madden NFL 26 launch ratings. EA also ranks their offense and defense as the best in the league.
Los Angeles is the only team with two members of the launch 99 Club through Matthew Stafford and another 99-rated player on its roster.
The Seattle Seahawks are among the largest risers after gaining four overall points. The Indianapolis Colts also improve by four, while the Miami Dolphins enter the game at 74 overall after ranking considerably higher at the beginning of the previous season.
