What Happened in Hunter x Hunter Chapter 418?
Chapter 418 focuses almost entirely on Tserriednich and Parallel Future.
First, the Fourth Prince reviews what he has learned through repeated testing. Entering Zetsu with his eyes closed allows him to see roughly 10 seconds into the future.
Everyone caught by Parallel Future then continues experiencing that original sequence.
Tserriednich, meanwhile, can act differently.
That difference explains how Benjamin could shoot and apparently kill him while the real Tserriednich remained alive.
However, Chapter 418 also establishes several important limits.
Parallel Future Has Clear Weaknesses
Tserriednich cannot freely control other people inside the false future.
Instead, they continue performing the actions he originally witnessed.
He can change his own movements and interact with objects. Even so, he cannot simply use those altered objects to hurt someone trapped inside the predetermined sequence.
In addition, Parallel Future appears to affect only a limited area around its activation point.
Tserriednich notices increasing static as he moves farther away. Therefore, he believes leaving that range will end the false reality.
That creates a major problem for Chapter 419.

How Long Can Tserriednich Maintain Parallel Future?
Tserriednich believes his Guardian Spirit Beast stores aura while he remains outside Zetsu.
Once he enters Zetsu, the beast uses that reserve to maintain Parallel Future.
Based on his experiments, Tserriednich estimates that he currently has roughly 3 hours and 48 minutes available.
Still, that number is not necessarily a hard rule.
Chapter 418 repeatedly presents Tserriednich’s conclusions as hypotheses. As a result, both the time limit and the exact range could change as he learns more about the ability.

Does Salkov Know Tserriednich Is Alive?
Salkov understands far more than Benjamin’s soldiers.
