Hunter x Hunter Chapter 415 Full Spoilers
Chapter 415 begins with a flashback set roughly two months before special martial law begins.
Furykov contacts Beyond Netero and identifies himself as one of First Prince Benjamin’s private soldiers. He then asks Beyond directly whether he placed a curse on him.
Beyond admits that he did.
He describes the curse as something intended to support the Succession Contest and protect Kakin’s future. Beyond also claims Furykov’s curse will benefit Benjamin rather than target him.
Furykov does not trust that explanation.
How Does Beyond Netero’s Curse Work?
Beyond says the curse was placed on Furykov shortly after his birth.
According to Beyond, the curse will activate after his own death. It will then become post-mortem Nen and kill one specific prince involved in the Succession Contest.
Furykov attempts to analyze the curse with his Nen ability. However, the results show that decrypting it would take approximately 365 days.
Creating and materializing an antidote could take another 700 days after the decryption finishes.
That timeline makes removing the curse almost impossible during the voyage.
Beyond explains that this resistance was intentional. The curse has slowly consumed Furykov’s aura for around 20 years, allowing it to accumulate far more power than a recently created ability.
Its complex construction also serves as a defense against Nen Exorcists.
Is Benjamin the Target of Furykov’s Curse?
Beyond insists that Furykov’s curse does not target Benjamin.
Furykov remains suspicious because a curse this powerful would likely be aimed at a skilled Nen user or someone protected by a Guardian Spirit Beast.
He considers whether Camilla could be the intended target. Her Nen abilities and desire to change Kakin’s existing political system could make her a threat to Beyond’s long-term plans.
However, Furykov cannot confirm the target without completing the lengthy decryption process.
Beyond refuses to identify the prince and challenges Furykov to investigate the curse himself.
Beyond Tells Furykov to Protect Benjamin
Furykov believes Beyond wants Benjamin to win because he needs Kakin’s continued support for his expedition.
A friendly Kakin king could provide Beyond with resources and access to a future colony near the Dark Continent.
Beyond openly praises Benjamin and his private soldiers. He then advises Furykov to help eliminate every remaining prince before the Black Whale reaches the fake Dark Continent.
He claims that the Succession Contest requires one winner and offers no legitimate path that allows multiple princes to survive.
Beyond ends the conversation before Furykov can determine which parts of his explanation were true.
Special Martial Law Begins
The chapter returns to the present as special martial law takes effect throughout the Black Whale.
Military announcements order everyone to remain inside their assigned rooms. The surviving princes receive instructions to travel to Room 1001, where Benjamin will personally explain the emergency.
The military claims the temporary truce is necessary because certain factions may use the Succession Contest to launch a coup against Kakin.
Camilla appears unconcerned by the announcement. Tserriednich also remains calm while continuing his Nen training.
Zhang Lei suspects the emergency may be connected to recent activity involving his coins.
Benjamin Orders the Princes into Room 1001
Benjamin’s soldiers tell the princes that they may bring members of their royal guards to Room 1001.
However, the soldiers will confiscate their weapons before Benjamin meets them.
The arrangement gives Benjamin a chance to gather several rivals in one controlled location while separating them from many of their allies.
The princes recognize the danger, but refusing a direct military order could give Benjamin grounds to arrest or execute them.
Fugetsu receives different orders because she remains under the authority of the judicial ministry. Soldiers order her confined to a secure room and forbid anyone from entering after it is sealed.
Luzurus Disappears During Martial Law
Benjamin’s soldiers discover that Luzurus has disappeared alongside one of his associates.
The investigation also turns toward an attack on one of Benjamin’s private soldiers. A Hunter reportedly subdued the soldier shortly before martial law began.
Furykov believes the incident can connect the Hunters, Luzurus, and the criminal organization supporting him.
Even though the confrontation happened before martial law officially started, Furykov intends to use it as evidence of a larger conspiracy against the state.
That could allow Benjamin to prosecute several enemies for treason instead of dealing with them separately.
Marayam’s Group Remains in the Nen Space
Marayam’s protectors face another problem inside Room 1013.
Leaving the room could deactivate the Guardian Spirit Beast’s Nen space. The ability may reset, enter a dormant state, or disappear permanently once Marayam crosses its boundary.
Because Marayam has little chance of surviving without that protection, his group decides that remaining hidden is safer than obeying Benjamin’s order.
The decision keeps Marayam away from Room 1001. It could also give Benjamin an excuse to accuse his protectors of resisting martial law.
Queen Oito Is Confined to Room 1014
Twenty minutes after martial law begins, Benjamin’s soldier delivers new orders in Room 1014.
The child currently posing as Prince Woble will not face immediate punishment because of their age.
Queen Oito is accused of insulting the state and violating the royal family’s authority. However, Benjamin postpones her full punishment because she remains a potential mother of Kakin’s next king.
Oito may move inside the bedroom, but leaving will result in an escape charge.
Her confinement will remain in place until the real Prince Woble is located.
Why Did Benjamin Declare Martial Law So Quickly?
Oito expected Benjamin to react strongly after learning that the real Woble could be missing somewhere aboard the ship.
Kurapika believes martial law may give Benjamin the authority to search every room and restricted area for the prince.
However, Benjamin moved faster than Kurapika anticipated.
Kurapika concludes that finding Woble cannot be the only reason for the emergency. Something more urgent has likely happened behind the scenes.
Chapter 415 ends without revealing that hidden cause.
