The Disney Dreamlight Valley July 8 patch notes are mostly focused on Honeyglow Woods, the new Winnie the Pooh Adventure Pack launching alongside a smaller free update for all players.

This is not just a normal patch. Some changes are locked to Honeyglow Woods owners, while others are available to everyone. That split matters, especially if you are trying to figure out what you get for free and what requires the new paid add-on.

Disney Dreamlight Valley July 8 Patch Notes Overview

The July 8 Disney Dreamlight Valley update adds the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack, launch Twitch Drops, a revamped Fast Travel menu, and several bug fixes. Honeyglow Woods is paid content for most players, but the Fast Travel improvement and listed fixes are available to all players.

Gameloft’s official Honeyglow Woods patch notes confirm that Honeyglow Woods arrives on July 8, 2026. The update also celebrates 100 Years of Winnie the Pooh with a new adventure inspired by the Hundred Acre Wood.

If you are unsure how the paid content works, check our guide on whether Honeyglow Woods is free in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

New Honeyglow Woods Content

Honeyglow Woods is the first Disney Dreamlight Valley Adventure Pack. It is an optional paid add-on that adds a new story, new areas, new characters, and new systems.

The adventure begins with a Tree Sprout that grows into a magical glowing tree gateway. Players can place that gateway in their Valley or on base game Floating Islands, then move or remove it later.

Honeyglow Woods includes four areas:

The patch notes also confirm special portals in Honeyglow Woods that take players to Scrooge McDuck’s Store and Chez Remy’s restaurant. That should make the new area easier to manage without constant map hopping.

New Honeyglow Woods Characters

Honeyglow Woods adds Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet to Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Each character can be invited back to the Valley and comes with their own home, Friendship Quests, and rewards. The patch notes mention that players will reunite with Pooh first, then find Eeyore, and finally Piglet.

That gives the Adventure Pack a clear character progression path without dumping every Hundred Acre Wood friend into the Valley at once. Honestly, Eeyore needing to be found separately feels painfully on-brand.

Beekeeping, Honey, Hedgehogs, and Pooh Sticks

Honeyglow Woods also adds beekeeping through Busy Bees’ Houses. Players can place flowers around a Busy Bees’ House to pollinate the flowers and generate more honey. A fully pollinated Busy Bees’ House increases nearby flower growth speeds.

Gameloft also says Busy Bees’ Houses can be moved to other biomes, including the base game Valley. We covered more of the confirmed system in our guide on what beekeeping is in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The patch notes also confirm new honey-based recipes and furniture, including Warm Milk & Honey, Honeycrunch Bar, Pooh’s Birthday Cake, the Honeypot Lamp, and the Cozy Honeyleaf Rug.

Hedgehogs are also coming as new critters with their own Photo Mode poses. If you are working on the new critters, check our guide on what Hedgehogs eat in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Honeyglow Woods also adds Pooh Sticks through Honeyglow bridges in the Gloommeadow. This new interaction can help level up Friendship Levels with villagers and unlock exclusive rewards.

Honeyglow Woods Bonuses and Twitch Drops

Honeyglow Woods owners get 2,000 Moonstones with the Adventure Pack. New players who buy the Honeyglow Woods Edition get the base game, Honeyglow Woods, and 10,000 Moonstones.

Players who start the Honeyglow Woods adventure before July 22 can unlock the Rainy Day Winnie the Pooh Dream Style through their in-game mailbox. Apple Arcade Edition players get access to Honeyglow Woods on day one without an additional purchase.

The July 8 update also starts a Twitch Drops campaign for all players. From July 8 at 10:00 AM EDT to July 15 at 9:59 AM EDT, players can watch partnered Disney Dreamlight Valley creators to unlock Piglet’s Clothesline.

Free Update Changes for All Players

The main free improvement in the July 8 update is a revamped Fast Travel layout.

The new Fast Travel menu is designed to provide clearer context and let players favorite the locations they use most. That should help now that Disney Dreamlight Valley has more Realms, biomes, expansions, and add-on areas than ever.

This is available to all players, not just Honeyglow Woods owners.

Top Bug Fixes in the July 8 Update

The patch includes several fixes across visuals, clothing, quests, decorating, and Apple Arcade issues.

Some of the listed fixes include:

Known Eeyore Quest Issue

Gameloft also listed one known Honeyglow Woods issue.

During the “Interlude 2: The Gloomy Hollow” quest, Eeyore may get stuck. The temporary workaround is to remove at least two obstacles from his path.

Gameloft says this issue will be fully addressed in the next update. Until then, keep that workaround in mind if Eeyore refuses to move and turns the quest into sadness-flavored traffic control.

Everything You Need to Know About Honeyglow Woods

The Disney Dreamlight Valley July 8 patch notes are mainly about Honeyglow Woods, but all players still get the new Fast Travel layout and a useful batch of fixes. Adventure Pack owners get the bigger additions, including Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, beekeeping, honey recipes, hedgehogs, Pooh Sticks, and the new Honeyglow Woods areas.

If you are jumping in at launch, check the paid content details first, claim any Twitch Drops before the campaign ends, and remember the Eeyore workaround if that quest gets stuck.
