Chapter 254 opens inside Chaos Lancelot’s mind.
Lancelot is there alongside Cath and the Lady of the Lake, finally giving us a clearer picture of the strange relationship between all three.
The Lady of the Lake immediately criticizes Lancelot for making a contract with Cath.
She expected Cath’s malice to completely consume him.
Instead, Lancelot has somehow managed to remain himself.
That may be the most important revelation in the chapter.
Chaos has changed Lancelot dramatically, but the original Lancelot has not disappeared.
Cath Threatens the Lady of the Lake
Cath is considerably less happy about the situation.
He tells the Lady of the Lake to stop behaving like Lancelot’s older sister and makes his priorities very clear.
Cath wants everything destroyed.
Once that is finished, he intends to deal with her too.
His hatred remains focused heavily on Britannia and the Seven Deadly Sins.
That turns out to be a mistake.
Lancelot Uses Cath’s Own Trauma Against Him
Cath begins talking about revenge against Britannia and the Seven Deadly Sins.

The chapter then returns to Liones.
Meliodas remains beside Elizabeth as she lies in bed.
Zeldris reflects on everything his brother and Elizabeth endured together.
Their entire struggle against the curses placed upon them was built around finally gaining the chance to live together freely.
Seeing Elizabeth in her current condition makes that history especially painful.
Gelda offers another perspective.

The answer is Lancelot.

The Demon Realm has officially become the next target of Cath’s destruction campaign, with Zeldris and Gelda directly in the path of someone whose power now appears to exceed even the Demon King.
Is Lancelot Still Conscious?
Yes.
Chapter 254 makes that much clearer.
Lancelot can speak with Cath and the Lady of the Lake, understands what Cath wants, and deliberately fights back against him.
That does not mean Lancelot can simply regain control.
Outside his mind, Chaos Lancelot is still destroying worlds.
However, the fact that Lancelot remains conscious creates a possible path toward saving him instead of simply defeating him.
How Strong is Chaos Lancelot?
Zeldris describes the magical power entering the Demon Realm as overwhelming and apparently beyond even the Demon King.
That does not automatically establish an exact power ranking for every character involved.
What it does establish is how Zeldris perceives the threat standing in front of him.
Chaos Lancelot is operating on an entirely different level from the opponents the current Four Knights have recently struggled against.
