Four Knights Chapter 256 finally put Zeldris directly against Chaos Lancelot.
Zeldris quickly realized that Lancelot was not acting entirely by choice.
Lancelot confirmed that suspicion in the bleakest way possible by asking Zeldris to kill him.
The fight escalated from there.
Lancelot attacked with Shining Road, while Zeldris responded with Ominous Nebula, using its pull and rapid sword strikes to restrict Lancelot’s movement.
Except Lancelot could still keep up.
That forced Zeldris to push harder before ending the chapter with a warning:
Never underestimate a Demon King.
Can Zeldris Actually Stop Lancelot?
Chapter 256 proves that Zeldris can at least fight him.
That’s already more than most characters have managed recently.
However, winning creates a different problem.
Lancelot is still inside the body Cath is controlling. His request to be killed shows that he understands the danger, but Zeldris has every reason to avoid that outcome if another option exists.
He needs to stop the attacker without destroying the victim.
Convenient.
Could Lancelot Break Free Himself?
Lancelot’s internal resistance remains important.
He warned the demons before attacking them.
He asked Zeldris to kill him.
Those are not Cath’s decisions.
If Zeldris can force Chaos Lancelot into a position where his control weakens, Lancelot may be able to create the opening needed to end the possession.
The question is how much of him will still be left by then.
What Does “Unperishable Passion” Mean?
The provisional Chapter 257 teaser could point in several directions.
Lancelot’s determination to protect Guinevere remains one possibility.
Zeldris’ determination to protect the Demon Realm is another.
The title could also describe Lancelot’s refusal to disappear completely while Cath controls his body.
Until the chapter arrives, that remains interpretation rather than confirmed plot information.
