The manga normally releases new English chapters on Tuesdays through K MANGA. With no announced break after Chapter 255, Chapter 256 is projected for Oct. 6.
We’ll update this page once trustworthy spoilers begin appearing.
For now, the sections below are based on Chapter 255 and the next-chapter teaser.
What Happened in Four Knights Chapter 255?
Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 255 showed Chaos Lancelot entering the Demon Realm while the real Lancelot continued resisting Cath internally.
Lancelot tried to warn the demons to run before he lost control.
The warning quickly became necessary.
The Demon Realm declared an emergency and ordered civilians toward the Abyss while its defenses attempted to slow Lancelot down.
An Indura associated with Time was released against him.
It did not solve the problem.
Lancelot answered with attacks including Death Penetration and Shining Road, and the defenders soon reported that the Indura had gone silent.
Then Zeldris arrived.
Will Zeldris Fight Lancelot in Chapter 256?
Everything currently points that way.
The Chapter 255 closing teaser explicitly sets up Chaos Lancelot versus Zeldris, making their confrontation the clearest expectation for Chapter 256.
Zeldris also has considerably more at stake than simply winning another fight.
He is defending the Demon Realm and its population from someone powerful enough to force an evacuation.
At the same time, he recognizes Lancelot.
He knows Lancelot is Tristan and Percival’s friend, which means this is not simply an unknown enemy attacking his kingdom.
There is still a person somewhere inside the threat standing in front of him.
Can Zeldris Stop Chaos Lancelot?
Chapter 255 gives us no reason to assume this will be easy.
The Demon Realm already tried releasing one of its emergency weapons, and Lancelot dispatched it with alarming speed.
Zeldris is a completely different opponent, though.
He brings experience against extremely powerful enemies, intimate knowledge of the Demon Realm and considerably more reason to avoid simply destroying Lancelot outright.
That last part may be the problem.
Lancelot is still fighting Cath from within.
Zeldris may need to stop his body without killing the person trapped inside it.
Nothing like adding precision work to an apocalypse.
Why Did Lancelot Choose the Demon Realm?
Chapter 255 suggests Lancelot deliberately moved the threat away from Britannia and the Fairy Realm.
Even while resisting Cath, he appears to understand that his body is capable of catastrophic destruction.
Choosing the Demon Realm may have been his attempt to protect the places and people closest to him.
That does not make the Demon Realm expendable.
The evacuation order makes clear how dangerous his decision has become for everyone living there.
Chapter 256 may reveal whether Lancelot chose the realm because he believed Zeldris could actually stop him.
Is Lancelot Still Fighting Cath?
Yes, based on Chapter 255.
Lancelot’s warning to the demons shows that his original consciousness remains active.
Cath even acknowledges that resistance and believes Lancelot will eventually run out of options.
That internal struggle could become important during the fight with Zeldris.
Zeldris may not need to overpower Chaos completely if Lancelot can create even one opening from within.
The issue is how long that resistance can last.
What Could Happen to Tristan?
Tristan remains protected while the Demon Realm crisis unfolds.
Chapter 255 establishes that releasing him into the realm would expose him to dangerous miasma, which is why he cannot simply rush outside to help Lancelot.
That leaves Tristan stuck close to a fight involving one of his closest friends and his uncle.
A particularly unpleasant family reunion, even by this franchise’s standards.
Whether Chapter 256 keeps Tristan sidelined or finds another way to involve him remains unclear.
