Chapter 37 left Boruto with a possible route to Sarada while Code and Hidari turned on each other inside the Divine Tree hideout. The problem is that Kashin Koji believes Boruto rushing to save her could also help create one of the disastrous futures he has already seen.
Boruto Chapter 38 Spoiler Status
As of September 24, dependable Boruto Chapter 38 spoilers have not been released.
There is also no official Chapter 38 preview available yet.

What Could Happen in Boruto Chapter 38?
Chapter 37 leaves several major storylines ready to collide.
The biggest is Sarada’s rescue.
Boruto found the earring Sarada deliberately left behind after Code abducted her. The remaining chakra gives him a possible way to use Flying Raijin to reach the Divine Tree hideout.
Getting there is only part of the problem.
Kashin Koji revealed that Momoshiki can access information Boruto knows, which is why Koji removed him from the communication link before discussing the dangerous future he had seen.
Boruto trying to save Sarada appears connected to Momoshiki taking control again.
That means Chapter 38 could force Boruto to choose between acting immediately and following Koji’s attempt to avoid that future.
Code and Hidari Have Their Own Problem
Sarada currently has another unexpected advantage.
Code brought her to the Divine Tree hideout intending to use her against Boruto. Hidari has no interest in cooperating with that plan because Sarada is his target.
Their disagreement became a fight in Chapter 37.
That leaves Code in the bizarre position of needing Sarada alive while Hidari wants to attack her.
Sarada has already recognized that she may be able to use the conflict between them to her advantage.
Whether she waits for Boruto or makes her own move could become one of Chapter 38’s biggest questions.
What Is Jura Doing?
Jura remains another major wildcard.
While everything surrounding Sarada unfolds, Jura is still in Konoha learning more about human behavior and relationships.
Chapter 37 showed him becoming curious about friendship while visiting a bookstore.
That distraction is extremely useful to Shikamaru and the others because keeping Jura away from the Divine Tree hideout gives Boruto and Sarada a much better chance of surviving whatever comes next.
There is no guarantee he stays distracted for long.
What Happened in Boruto Chapter 37?
Chapter 37 revealed why Kashin Koji did not want Boruto hearing the full rescue plan.
Momoshiki can access Boruto’s thoughts, meaning information given to Boruto could also reach him.
Meanwhile, Code brought Sarada to the Divine Tree hideout and immediately clashed with Hidari over what should happen to her.
Sarada used the chaos to her advantage and left behind an earring carrying her chakra, potentially giving Boruto the marker he needs to reach her with Flying Raijin.
Boruto Chapter 38 Release Date
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 38 is scheduled to release officially in English on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
VIZ currently lists October 20 as the release date for the next chapter following Chapter 37.
