Chapter 3 Golden Mustache Locations
There are a total of 11 Golden Mustache locations in chapter 3.
1. Bathroom Near Restaurant — Starboard Side
After the opening cutscene, flip around and follow the path until you reach the stairs. Don’t enter the restaurant yet. When facing its door, go right (starboard side) and look for the second white door with no sign. Inside, open the left bathroom door—find the Golden Mustache on the shelf to the right of the sink, next to the white towels.
2. Bathroom Near Restaurant — Port Side
Backtrack and head to the opposite side of the ship (port side). Enter the first unmarked white door here, open the right bathroom door, and check the basket on top of the sink in front of the mirror.
3. Top Deck Bar — Golden Pot
Take the wooden stairs next to the lounge (pipe symbol), then climb the white staircase to reach the top deck. Turn right. You’ll find the Golden Mustache attached to the front of a golden pot on the left side of the bar (when facing it). This is also where the Chapter 3 Vinyl is located.
4. Bell Puzzle Mustache
Before heading back down, walk past the bar stairs and enter the unmarked white door. On the table is a ship in a bottle—rotate it to reveal a bell icon pattern. Now, head back downstairs to the restaurant entrance (but don’t enter). To the right of the door, ring the outside bell in the correct sequence shown on the bottle. The Golden Mustache will fall to the ground and unlocks the “This is the Rhythm of the Nile” achievement.
5. Ice Bucket Behind Restaurant Bar
Now go inside the restaurant. Don’t sit down yet—head behind the bar to find a Golden Mustache sitting inside an ice bucket.
6. Kitchen — On the Scales
After the cutscene, head into the kitchen using the door marked with a pot symbol. Turn left—look for the Golden Mustache sitting on the scales next to the refrigerator.
7. Storage Room Behind Kitchen
Leave the kitchen, turn right, and enter the door behind the stairs marked with a hand-crossed-out symbol. The Mustache is on the ground, between a dark brown crate and a light brown box.
8. Engineer Room — Coal Container
Exit the storage room and head across to the engineer room (marked with a spanner symbol). Inside, turn right and check the coal container—the Golden Mustache is half buried in the right corner.
9. Engineer Room — Shelf Near Workbench
From the coal container, turn left and go down the ramp. Look to the right for a workbench with tools—the Golden Mustache is sitting on the shelf to its left.
10. Back Storage Room
From the previous location, exit through the door to the left. Turn left again and go through another door marked with the hand-crossed-out sign. Once inside, turn left—the Mustache is between a crate and a box.
11. Captain’s Cabin — Headboard
Return upstairs to the captain’s cabin (same area as the ship in a bottle). After the “glass-in-the-meal” mystery starts, the captain’s cabin becomes accessible. The Golden Mustache is located in the center of the headboard.
Chapter 3 Golden Vinyl Location
There is only one Golden Vinyl location in chapter 3.
1. Top Deck Bar — Between the Stools
You’ll grab this one during step three above. When you reach the top of the ship via the lounge stairs, the Golden Vinyl is hanging on the bar, right between two stools.
