How to Redeem Codes
Minecraft Dungeons II includes an in-game Redeem a Code page.
To redeem a promotional code:
- Launch Minecraft Dungeons 2.
- Load into the game with your character.
- Pause the game.
- Tab to the Collectibles tab.
- Select Redeem a Code in the bottom-right corner.
- Enter the code exactly as it was provided.
- Confirm the redemption.
- Check the appropriate Collectibles section for your reward.
A cape, for example, can be found through Collectibles → hanger icon → Capes once it has been added to your account.
There is also an important distinction between Dungeons II promotional codes and codes supplied with a physical copy of the game.
Mojang instructs players with physical preorder codes to redeem those through the appropriate Xbox, Nintendo or PlayStation store. Those aren’t the same thing as a Dungeons II cosmetic code.
Do not feed a platform-store code into the in-game promotional box and then blame the poor textbox.
Why is My Minecraft Dungeons 2 Code Not Working?
If your Minecraft Dungeons 2 code refuses to cooperate, check these common problems first:

Are Minecraft Dungeons 2 Codes the Same as Minecraft Codes?
No. A promotional code intended for Minecraft Dungeons II isn’t necessarily a code for Minecraft: Java Edition, Bedrock Edition or a platform storefront.
This distinction is especially important around the launch cape promotions. Some rewards can later appear in multiple Minecraft games when account requirements are met, but the method used to earn or redeem them can still be different.
Always check which game or storefront the original promotion tells you to use.
When to Expect New Minecraft Dungeons 2 Codes
Mojang hasn’t announced a fixed schedule for releasing Minecraft Dungeons 2 codes.
The launch campaign does give us a few places worth watching. The Corrupted Creeper Cape was distributed through limited promotional events and Twitch/TikTok watch-time campaigns, while other cosmetics use preorder, edition or account-based requirements instead of codes.
That means future rewards could appear through:
