We Gotta Go! – A S#!TTY New Game from FuzzyBot and Mad Mushroom

Mad Mushroom has announced a new publishing partnership with indie studio FuzzyBot, the team behind Lynked: Banner of the Spark, for the studio’s next title: the co-op horror comedy We Gotta Go! A public demo is available now on Steam, letting players sample the game’s unique mix of puzzle-solving, ghost-fighting chaos, and one very urgent objective: find a bathroom before it is too late.

First Look at We Gotta Go!

In We Gotta Go!, up to four players hit the road, make one unfortunate gas station food decision, and end up trapped inside a haunted mansion. It is full of ghosts, puzzles, and locked doors. It is also the only bathroom for miles.

Your goal is simple: reach the toilet before your bowels betray you. If you fail too many times, the run goes sideways in the most ridiculous way possible. The game even leans into the premise with its own rallying cry: “Don’t $h!t Your Pants…Together!”

What Players Can Expect in the We Gotta Go! Steam Demo

Try the demo now on Steam, and keep an eye out for more updates in the coming months. The demo highlights several core systems designed for loud, messy co-op sessions:

  • Character customization, plus the option to return as a playable pile of poo after death.
  • Co-op chaos with physics-based gameplay, proximity chat, and plenty of toilet humor.
  • Procedural hauntings that remix the mansion layout and challenges each run.
  • Real-time GI management where fear, stress, food, and medicine affect your “uh-oh” meter.
  • Physics-based hijinks that let you break doors, fight enemies, or troll friends.

We Gotta Go! is currently set to release on PC via Steam, priced at $7.99, with a launch date listed as TBD. Keep an eye out, as we’ll post a We Gotta Go! game review once the publisher provides a copy. For now, check out more gaming headlines and fresh reveals in our Game News hub.
