Basketball fans on Apple devices have something new to cheer for. 2K has officially released NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition on Apple Arcade, bringing fresh content and major upgrades to the mobile version of the long-running sports sim. Available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, the game expands how and where players can experience NBA 2K on the go.
NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition – Major Features and New Game Modes
Headlined by 2025 NBA Finals MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, this year’s edition introduces multiple new features. One of the biggest additions is NBA Eras, a new component in Association Mode. This allows players to manage historic NBA dynasties, with more decades set to arrive in future updates.
The MyPLAYER system also gets a complete overhaul. With the all-new MyPLAYER Builder, players can create builds inspired by NBA greats, complete tutorials, and unlock rewards like gear, tattoos, and more.
In MyCAREER, players start their journey as rookies and work toward building a dream team and winning a championship. Meanwhile, the Neighborhood returns with new streetball courts and quest-based progression.
The Association mode also gets deeper this year, giving players control over trades, scouting, finances, and more as both GM and Head Coach.
