Your buggy can disappear if it’s defeated in battle or if you enter an area it can’t follow—though this doesn’t happen every time, it’s still a risk. If you’re not sure how to bring it back, this can leave you stranded without your trusty mount. Luckily, there’s a reliable way to summon it back, even if it’s stored away in a location like an Ants’ Nest.

Here’s how to summon your mount in Grounded 2:

  • Controller: Right D-Pad button (Press and Hold)
  • Keyboard: T key (Press and Hold)

After pressing your designated key to open the summon radial menu, you’ll be able to view all of your available buggy mounts. This menu also displays key stats for each mount, including Crafting, Building, Battling, and Agility—helping you pick the right one for the job.

Beyond summoning your buggy, the same menu lets you whistle to call your mount back to your side. This is especially useful if you’ve told it to wait, it’s stuck in the environment, or you need it to disengage from combat. You can also order your Buggy using different commands within the summon radial menu by pressing the on-screen shortcut key. For instance, L2 on a controller will tell the Buggy to stay.
