Fortunately, that’s not the case and you can complete the Find a Way to the Communications Array quest at any time and move the main story forward whenever you’re ready.

Follow these steps to solve the objective quickly (refer to the images above for visual reference):

• Exit the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar and immediately look on the ground to your right.
• Locate the thick black communications array cable stretching away from the entrance of Ranger Outpost: Snackbar
• Follow the cable as it leads through the park. Eventually, it’ll lead you to a cave entrance.
• Continue deeper into the cave until you reach a vantage point looking back at the other side of the Ranger Station.
• Look for a broken wall near the rear exterior.
• Enter the opening and proceed into the Communications Array.
• Interact with the terminal to finally answer the call.

Now that you’ve found a way to the communications array in Grounded 2, you’re officially past your first real puzzle in the game.
