How to Equip a Teammote Dance in NBA 2K26
Here’s how to Equip a Teammote:
- Pause the game.
- Open the MyPLAYER tab.
- Select Animations.
- Go to the Showoff Animations section.
- Choose an empty City Emote slot.
- Press RT to switch the category from Moving Emote to Teammotes (use R2 on PlayStation, ZR on Switch).
- Pick a Teammote and equip it.
You start with the Hardwork Teammote unlocked by default. Equip this, or any Teammote, and it will be added to a City Emotes slot in the Showoff Animations menu. After doing so, you will complete the challenge titled “Equip a Teammote dance in the Animations menu (Showoff Animations).”
To use your newly equipped Teammote, make sure you are in the main The City area, and not any parks or buildings as it won’t work. Then, hold RB to open the Emotes menu, use R1 on PlayStation or R on Switch, then push the right stick toward the slot you assigned. Performing it this way completes “Perform a Teammote dance (Hold RB in the City).”
