From Sloth House to the secret Water Hole, we’ll walk you through each location step-by-step so you can complete the level and unlock the next area.
Where to Find All Pygmies in Treetop Trouble
There are a total of 10 pygmies to find in the Treetop Trouble level of Hop n Marty. Two are locked behind quests, so make sure to complete those as you encounter them. The remaining eight are located in the main Treetop Trouble area.
1 & 2. Sloth House
There are two pygmies located in and around the Sloth’s house.
- Pygmy One – Jump across the logs in the brown mud to reach a switch on the back corner. Jump and stomp on it to open a cage wall. Then jump back across the logs and climb into the square box to unlock the pygmy.
- Pygmy Two – Head inside the Sloth’s house. Each room contains a floating target. Shoot each target with an orange before the timer runs out. Once you hit all of them, the pygmy will appear to the right of the Sloth’s room.
7. Inside the Well
Climb the stone pillars where you found one of Hoobert’s Cogs. Inside, jump across platforms, then swim through the vines, following air bubbles for oxygen. On the other side, you’ll find a pygmy sitting on a stone structure below the well exit.
6. Snow Monkeys
Learn the Song of the Snow Monkeys from the monkey near the tall Stone Tower. The colored notes he sings are the button order: Green, Green, Blue, Red, Red, Green, Blue. Press the buttons in this sequence to make the pygmy appear.
5. Slime Ramp
Across from the Stone Tower, you’ll see wooden ramps climbing up stone pillars. The Slime character nearby marks the spot. Climb to the top for the pygmy.
4. Inside the Stone Tower
The Stone Tower entrance is on the ground level next to the stone maze (also where you find Macbat’s monocle). Climb to the top to collect the pygmy.
8. Hidden Grove
From Hoobert’s house, head straight ahead to find a pygmy sitting on top of a purple and pink platform.
3. Hop Door on Top of the Giant Tree Stump
After exiting the water Hop Door, look straight down underwater. You’ll find a hole leading to the last pygmy. Collect air bubbles along the way to avoid running out of oxygen.
9. Behind the Waterfall
First, find Macbat’s monocle. He will lower the gate behind the waterfall, revealing a Hop Door. Inside, press three levers to raise three white columns. Climb them to reach the pygmy.
10. Water Hole
Climb to the top of the giant tree stump until you find a Hop Door. Enter it, then use your tongue and bug grapple points to reach the very top, where you’ll find the pygmy.
