One Piece Chapter 1187 Spoilers and Leaks

One Piece Chapter 1187 spoilers have not been released yet.

If the manga stays on its current schedule, early spoilers may start appearing in the middle of the week before the official chapter release. Once confirmed spoilers, raw scan details, or a full chapter summary become available, this section will be updated.

For now, the obvious focus is Luffy’s arrival in the fight against Imu. Chapter 1186 ended with Luffy landing a direct punch on Imu after Imu told Loki that history would repeat itself in Elbaph. That is not a small setup. That is Oda kicking the door open and daring everyone to act normal about it.

One Piece Chapter 1186 Recap

One Piece Chapter 1186, titled “One More Time,” continues Brook’s Esperia flashback and finally explains the truth behind Shuri, King Reuven, and the World Government’s demand.

Brook watches Reuven die and refuses to accept what he is seeing. He calls for a medic and tries to save him, but Shuri tells him that Reuven is already gone. Brook then turns his anger toward the figure near her, demanding to know what happened and why Shuri would ever hurt the man who raised her.

Shuri reveals that she had only just learned the truth about her own bloodline. According to her, she is descended from the World Nobles, and Reuven was not her biological father. Brook rejects that idea and still sees her as Reuven’s rightful heir, but Shuri is shaken by the knowledge that her entire life was built on a secret.

The bigger reveal is even worse. Reuven had lied about what the World Government wanted from Esperia. They were not demanding 1,000 slaves. They wanted Shuri handed over to them.

That changes the shape of Esperia’s tragedy. Reuven did not simply choose war to protect his people from becoming tribute. He chose war because the World Government wanted Shuri specifically. Shuri sees that choice as the reason the kingdom was destroyed.

The chapter also reveals more about Manmayer Growlo, who remembers Brook from Esperia. Brook does not remember him the same way because he was never allowed near Growlo when Growlo visited the kingdom.

Then Shuri attacks Brook. She drives a sword through his head with “Gavotte Bond en Avant,” the same attack Brook uses in the present. Brook somehow survives because the blade misses the critical parts of his head, including the brain stem and main veins.

When Brook wakes up, he learns Reuven is dead. The trauma crushes him. At the time, Brook did not know Devil Fruits existed, so everything he saw in Esperia felt impossible. For years, he believed the king’s death and Shuri’s demonic appearance may have been a hallucination born from fear and grief.

Back in the present, Brook tells the Straw Hats what happened and wonders if he can trust Shuri again. He asks them to free her from Ragnir’s ice before leaving the area, clearly still carrying the wound from Esperia.

The chapter then returns to Imu and Loki. Imu tells Loki that saving the children is what led to the giants’ defeat 800 years ago and says history will repeat itself. That line suggests Elbaph’s past disaster was tied to a choice of protection or sacrifice, not just a lost battle.

The final spread brings Luffy into the fight. After recovering his strength, Luffy appears behind Loki and punches Imu directly in the face, telling him to get out of Elbaph.

It is the cleanest possible Luffy answer to a giant lore bomb. Imu talks about history, defeat, and fate. Luffy responds with a fist. No notes.

Where to Read One Piece Chapter 1187

What to Expect From One Piece Chapter 1187

One Piece Chapter 1187 should finally show how Imu reacts to Luffy’s punch. That matters because Imu has spent most of the story operating from the shadows, controlling others, or appearing through terrifying displays of power. Luffy reaching him directly changes the whole temperature of the Elbaph fight.

The chapter may not turn into a full Luffy vs. Imu battle right away. Oda could pull back to Loki, Brook, Shuri, or the giants’ 800-year history before letting the fight explode. Still, Luffy landing the first hit is too big to ignore.

Loki is also in an interesting spot. Imu had just told him that saving the children caused the giants’ defeat in the past. If Luffy’s arrival breaks that pattern, Chapter 1187 could start reframing Elbaph’s old tragedy through Luffy’s usual refusal to accept fate.

Brook and Shuri may also remain important. Chapter 1186 did not fully resolve whether Shuri can be trusted, what the World Government wanted from her bloodline, or how her past connects to Imu’s current control over Elbaph. Brook asking the Straw Hats to free her suggests that storyline is not finished yet.

The safest expectation is that Chapter 1187 will focus on the immediate fallout from Luffy punching Imu, then widen the fight around Loki, the giants, and whatever Imu meant about history repeating.

Final Thoughts

One Piece Chapter 1187 does not have confirmed spoilers yet, but Chapter 1186 gave the next release a massive launch point. Brook’s flashback finally exposed the pain behind Esperia, Shuri’s secret, and the World Government’s true demand. Then Luffy reached Imu and punched him in the face because some problems do not need a committee meeting.
