Chapter 1174 is titled “The Strongest Thing in the World,” and the cover request shows Roger casually feeding meat to a T-Rex that is wearing Roger’s Jolly Roger hat.
The chapter picks up right after the ship meant to transport the kidnapped kids gets destroyed, leaving a massive hole in the sea clouds and wiping out the original escape plan. Even worse, the giant children keep walking toward the dock anyway because Gunko’s arrow ability is still forcing them forward, and Sommers cannot stop it.
That is when Sommers fully flips. He turns grotesquely excited, basically treating the children’s impending fall as a “divine” way to kill them, and he rants about how the panic, tears, and parents calling for their kids are the real “emotion” he wants to savor. He tells the children the plan has changed, and now their “accident” will be falling to their deaths.
Colon breaks down, promising he will behave, and the chapter flashes back to smaller moments of parents scolding their kids, including Colon winning a duel and keeping a toy that resembles Emeth, with Ripley reminding him that being stronger means he should be kinder. As Colon reaches the edge, Ripley appears and hugs him despite the thorny danger, and then the chapter hits a brutal double-page of relatives (including Oimo, Ange, and Road) clutching the kids as they all fall together toward the Underworld.
