Searching for all Home Sweet Home pygmy locations in Hop n Marty? This guide will help you collect all 10 pygmies, including those hidden in secret sub-levels and Hop Doors. From the giant cake stand to the NES console, we’ll walk you through each step so you can finish the level and move on to the next adventure.
Where to Find All Pygmies in Home Sweet Home
There are no quests in this level, but you’ll need to complete two secret sub-levels and two Hop Doors in addition to finding the pygmy in the open world.
1. Cake Stand
At the start of the level, you’ll see a giant cake stand. Climb to the top, collecting oranges along the way. Look up to see rotating flying targets. You’ll need to shoot all of them before the countdown ends to unlock this pygmy.
Tip: Stand close to the edge so the targets are nearer. Time your shots so the orange meets the target as it passes in front of you. Shooting too early or too late will cause you to miss.
2. Hanging Shelf
After collecting the first pygmy, jump across the ironing board to the bookshelf—but don’t climb it yet. Head to the left corner to find a hole with a spider web leading to a side table with a lamp. Cross the back of the blue couch to the green potted plant, then climb the leaves to reach a hanging shelf with square holes.
Jump from hole to hole by standing near the wall, jumping, curving, then double-jumping in a U shape to land in the next square. Do this twice to reach a moving platform, which takes you to the middle shelf where the pygmy is.
3. White Cabinet
From the previous pygmy, ride the platform up another level. Jump across squares until you reach a button in the last square, which opens the white cabinet below. Drop down to the plant, jump across to the cabinet, and ride the platform inside to the pygmy.
4. Ceiling Fan / Flowers
After collecting the last pygmy, ride the platform to the top of the white shelf. Cross the spider web to the doorframe, then use the spiderweb trampoline to reach platforms that lead to the ceiling fan. Ride the fan until you spot platforms leading to the top of the flowers, where the pygmy is.
5. Bookshelf – Blue Box
Backtrack from the flowers to the ceiling fan, then return to the doorframe where you first boarded it. Drop down and follow the path past the spiderweb trampoline to the top of the bookshelf. At the end, take the rising platform to a blue box containing the pygmy.
6. Bookshelf – Inside Ant Farm
From the blue box, walk past the colored paint vials to a Hop Door leading into the Ant Farm. Eat three ants to open the emergency exit:
- Second tunnel on the left: Jump into the water, swim right, and follow the tunnel to the first ant.
- Second tunnel on the right: Leads to a room with pillars; the ant is next to one.
After all three ants are eaten, the pygmy will be accessible.
7. Garden Area – Sunflower
Exit the Ant Farm, jump off the bookshelf, and head behind the entertainment center. Climb it using ramps, bounce up the TV cables, and find a switch on the TV to open the NES console lid—but don’t go in yet.
Instead, cross the spider web to the windowsill and speak to the gnome. He asks you to restore water to grow the sunflower. Spin five red valves with your tailwhip:
- Behind the gnome to the right of the window.
- Below the windowsill edge.
- Behind three stacked clay pots.
- Further along the wall from the pots.
- Behind the sunflower pot.
Once the sunflower grows, bounce up via the trampoline, then jump leaf to leaf to the pygmy.
8. Garden Area – Frog Pond
From the sunflower, drop to the ground and enter the Hop Door between the large white picket fences. Climb leaves, reeds, and hooks to the top for the pygmy. Exit the garden by climbing the yellow hose, bouncing on the water stream, and using the wheelbarrow to reach the windowsill.
9. Inside the NES Console
Return to the TV top and drop into the open console. Unlock the first door, shoot the switch above the pillows to open the next, grab the green key, and enter the boss room. Stand to the dragon’s side to avoid fire and hit its head with oranges five times to open the door to the pygmy.
10. Inside the Trash Can
From the entertainment center, drop to the trash can and jump on the pedal to open it. Inside, climb pop cans, bounce on jello, jump onto the milk carton, then the pizza box for the pygmy. Bounce back on the jello to exit.
